MARKET COMMENT - DMS IN RETREAT YESTERDAY WHILE UK, US POLITICAL EVENTS IN FOCUSRussia performed in line with EM peers, indexes edging up slightly yesterday. DM markets were weaker, with US political events widely blamed, though we think a return to a more normal volatility and lack of positive catalysts are a better explanation. Today’s potential highlights for global and Russian markets include the UK response to the Skripal poisoning, weekly oil data and major ECB speeches.
