MARKET COMMENT - QUIET MONDAY FOR RUSSIA, HIGHER BRENT, AND MIXED APAC BACKDROP TODAYThe RTS (1,340) and MSCI Russia were flat yesterday on the back of low volumes for Russian equities. The result came just below the MSCI EM country median gain of 0.1%. Meanwhile, Brent surged more than 3% on several factors. This morning, APAC markets are widely mixed amid little globally relevant news flow, while early indicators for Russia are a touch negative.
