Commodities Daily - July 23, 2018

Oil supported by limited Saudi August exports, Iranian escalation and weaker dollar but pressured by growing trade dispute. Today, we think Brent is likely to break above $73/bbl and consolidate above that mark, as we believe bullish factors are set to outweigh demand growth concerns stemming from the trade dispute.Gold supported by ongoing dollar weakness. We do not expect last week's volatility to carry over to today's session and see gold trading within the current $1,230-1,235/oz range.
