CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe negative general market backdrop continued to exert pressure on Russian sovereign Eurobonds yesterday, though modest demand appeared in the afternoon, limiting the losses. The Russia 28 suffered the most, dropping 3.4 pp to 160.6% (YTM 5.1%, Z-spread 227 bps). The Russia 47 fell 2.3 pp to 94.9% (YTM 5.6%, Z-spread 275 bps).
GOVERNMENT DEBT
The selloff continued in the OFZ market yesterday, yields climbing 20 bps on average along the curve. In the afternoon, the bulk of selling was focused in the 2-5y segment. Volumes were again well above average, at R70 bln.
