CIS EUROBOND MARKETA significant rise in 10y US Treasury yields on Friday and yesterday morning pressured Russian sovereign quotes, which dropped as much as 1.0-1.4 pp. However, subsequent news that the US might relax sanctions against RUSAL boosted market optimism, and the earlier losses were pared back. The Russia 47 fared the best over the session, climbing 0.7 pp to 96.9% (YTM 5.5%, Z-spread 243 bps). The Russia 27 rose 0.2 pp to 96.9% (YTM 4.7%, Z-spread 167 bps).GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZs were mainly sold off in the morning yesterday, but the RUSAL news in the afternoon sparked a wave of buying. Yields still closed up 1-3 bps on the day. Volumes were above average, with a third concentrated in the OFZ 26207 (January 2028, 7.05%).
