CIS EUROBOND MARKETRussian sovereign Eurobonds posted moderate gains yesterday amid an improved global backdrop. The top performers were again the longest-dated issues, the Russia 43 (+0.6 pp) and Russia 47 (+0.5 pp). GOVERNMENT DEBTA benign external backdrop and a ruble on the rebound following last week's decline fueled demand for OFZs yesterday, including among nonresident investors. This helped yields in the belly and at the long end come down 7-9 bps.
