CIS EUROBOND MARKETIt was dejÃ vu on the Russian sovereign Eurobond market: volumes were elevated, though quotes were little changed. Locals were buying at the short end of the curve and in the belly, while nonresidents were the main buyers at the long end.GOVERNMENT DEBTThe Finance Ministry yesterday canceled the auction for the 5y OFZ 26223 citing a lack of acceptable bids. At the auction for the 1y issue, it placed just R1.1 bln out of the R10.0 bln on offer with no premium to the secondary market. Bids reached R12.1 bln. It also placed R2.3 bln out of the R5.1 bln on offer in the inflation-linked OFZ 52002, which is currently illiquid; the last placement in the issue was in July this year.
