Debt Markets Today - June 10, 2021. Russian Weekly Inflation Accelerates, Current Account Surplus Expands

CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe sharp decline in dollar yields yesterday buoyed prices on Russian sovereign Eurobonds. When the dust settled, the Russia 42 had climbed 0.6 pp, while the Russia 43 and Russia 35 had added 0.5 pp apiece. GOVERNMENT DEBTYields on OFZs rose 2-8 bps at the open yesterday. However, following the publication of the results for the 10y auction, which were quite strong, issues 10y and longer changed course, ultimately finishing the day 2-3 bps lower in yield, while yields on short- and medium-dated issues ended the session 2-6 bps higher, the 5s10s spread narrowing 5 bps.
