Debt Markets Today - March 12, 2018

CIS EUROBOND MARKET
While Russian investors were away on Thursday and Friday (for a national holiday), long-dated Russian sovereign Eurobonds lost 0.2-0.4 pp in price. In the Russian corporate segment, Gazprom papers maturing in 2034 and 2037 lost 0.4 pp apiece, which made them the biggest losers going into the weekend, while the EDC 20 added 0.2 pp to lead the gainers. In the CIS sovereign Eurobond space, long-dated Kazakh paper slipped 0.4-0.5 pp, while prices in the above-mentioned markets changed insignificantly.

GOVERNMENT DEBT
The OFZ market continued to see limited activity on Wednesday, and volumes were below average. Yields eased along the curve, but by no more than 2 bps, with the exception of the OFZ 25083, whose yield rose 3 bps to 6.62% after the auction of 11y and 4y paper.
