Debt Markets Today - March 23, 2022. Market Practice for New Foreign Debt Servicing Rules Starting to Take Shape
CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe Finance Ministry has reported that the funds to make the coupon payment in the amount of $65.63 mln on the Russia 29, which is due on March 21, have been received by the National Settlement Depository. GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZ yields continued to fall on the Moscow Exchange yesterday thanks to purchases from retail investors. Yields closed at around 13% on long-dated paper and 15% on issues maturing in 2y. This means a 50-100 bps drop in yields on the day. Certain short-dated papers continued trading with yields in the 17.0-17.5% range.
