CIS EUROBOND MARKETWith US bond markets closed due to a national holiday, trading in Russian sovereign Eurobonds was very thin and prices did not show significant movements. GOVERNMENT DEBTThe OFZ market was fairly anemic yesterday due to the absence of US investors, though yields eased 2-3 bps in the morning against the backdrop of a firming ruble. However, in the afternoon, yields snapped back to the previous closing levels at the long end due to the weak auction results (see the story below), while yields closed 2 bps lower in the belly.
