MARKET COMMENT - EU AND US REMARKS ON RUSSIA, METALS MEETING, PMIS DUEA 2.0% gain for the RTS (1,179) made Russia one of the best performers on a broadly positive day for global markets (MSCI EM +1.2%). A sharp rebound in the ruble in turn supported stocks. Indicators are mixed this morning. An EU leaders' summit and another push from members of the US Congress on Russia policy make room for political headlines regarding Russia today. A government and metals company meeting is in focus here in Russia, while PMIs are coming in from around the globe.
