Debt Markets Today - September 28, 2021. OFZ Weekly Flows Update, Evraz Make-Whole Call on January 2022 Eurobond, MKB Perp Eurobond Placement, Belarusian Inflation
CIS EUROBOND MARKETA continued rise in dollar rates exerted further pressure on Russian sovereign Eurobonds yesterday. The losses ranged from 0.9-1.2 pp at the long end and 0.3-0.6 pp in the belly of the curve.GOVERNMENT DEBTDriven by several factors, the OFZ market saw a number of swings yesterday. On one hand the ruble firmed, while on the other US Treasury yields rose (the 10y climbed 4 bps to 1.49%). When the dust settled, OFZ yields were 1-2 bps higher, with nonresident demand later on in the day offering some support.
