CIS EUROBOND MARKETConcerns about how the unfolding situation in Belarus might affect Russian assets are rising in markets (see yesterday's daily), and they affected the sovereign Eurobond market yesterday. Long-dated issues slid 2.5-2.8 pp, while intermediate paper lost 0.9-1.1 pp. GOVERNMENT DEBTMarket fears over a possible escalation in the geopolitical tension surrounding Belarus sent OFZ yields soaring 20-26 bps higher along the curve yesterday. Offers were dominated by foreign investors.
