MARKET COMMENT - US TEMPTING A TAPER TANTRUM; RUSSIAN RESULTS, MSCI IN FOCUSA mixed early part of the day gave way to notable declines after the Fed minutes revealed the FOMC is more ready to taper asset purchases than some investors may have expected. The dollar has risen and stock and commodity prices have fallen since then, and the outlook remains weak this morning. Results from six companies, possible MSCI 10-40 shifts and US jobless claims are also on today's agenda. In addition, the Company provides management and consulting services for holding companies and for companies active in the financial and industrial sectors. M.video PAO operates through two wholly owned subsidiaries, located in Moscow. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's major shareholder was Svece Limited with a stake of 67.78%.

EME Equity Market – February 2025 Poland outperforms, again; Türkiye declines. The MSCI EM Europe Index advanced by 3.1% in EUR terms and 2.9% mom in USD terms in February. The Polish WIG20 was, once again, the best performer, adding 7.3% mom in February; followed by the Czech PX Index (+6.1% mom); while Greece (+3.8% mom), Hungary (+3.5% mom) and Romania (+3.0% mom) all reported rather similar performances. This morning, the ruble has weakened somewhat offshore, sliding to USD/RUB 98, whereas on the Moscow Exchange it is trading at 95.5. In focus today will be EU and NATO summits at which comments about Russia's plan to switch to ruble settlement for gas could be forthcoming. It is possible that the rhetoric toward Russia will become harsher. Against this backdrop, we think the ruble's advance will take a pause and that it will remain around 96.
