MARKET COMMENT - SOFT GLOBAL MARKET BACKDROP, SOME PROGRESS IN UKRAINE TALKSThe RTS yesterday rose 0.6% to 1,457. Peers fared less well, the MSCI EM edging up 0.2% and MSCI World (DM) shrinking 0.2%. A lack of material news flow regarding the US/China trade war was widely blamed for sluggish Western markets.
