MARKET COMMENT - CLAIMS OF IMPROVING US/CHINA TALKS DRIVING MARKETS THIS MORNINGThe RTS yesterday rose 0.4% to 1,387, coming in above the MSCI EM's 0.2% gain and the EM median fall of 0.1%. DMs leaned weaker, key indexes down 0.1% apiece, amid early, negative remarks on US/China talks. That story shifted later in the day, with positive news flow, including a report out of Hong Kong this morning that US and Chinese officials have informally agreed to a six-month detente in order to give time for renewed negotiations. Although RTS futures are slightly down, the global backdrop looks positive this morning.
