CIS EUROBOND MARKETYesterday, Russian sovereign Eurobonds continued to retreat amid the ongoing rise in US Treasury yields. Most of the offers were at the long end of the curve, while local investors were selling short-dated issues. The Russia 35 posted the biggest loss for the day (-1.0 pp), followed by the Russia 42 and 43 (-0.8 pp for both).GOVERNMENT DEBTThe OFZ market was fairly quiet early on yesterday, while later on in the day selling predominated, a trend observed across other EM local debt markets. Yields ended up moving 2-3 bps higher across the curve. Volumes totaled R25 bln.
