MARKET COMMENT - NEW SIX-YEAR HIGH FOR RTS, US-CHINA DEAL DELAY AND SLIPPERY OILThe RTS yesterday climbed 0.7% to 1,471, finally breaking a six-year record high close. Other markets were less impressive, the MSCI EM and NASDAQ down 0.2-0.3%, while the S&P 500 and MSCI Europe squeaked out 0.1-0.2% gains. News that the US-China "phase one" trade deal will likely be signed on neutral territory in December rather than in Iowa in November has left markets uninspired, as have reports that many key central banks may have ended their current short-term easing cycle.
