MSCI August Rebalancing Preview - Little to Say for August, Looking Ahead to November
MSCI is to release the results of the quarterly index review after 23:00 Central European time tonight, August 10. Any changes announced come into effect on Friday, September 1. We expect no changes in the August rebalancing for the MSCI Russia, so in this note we instead share some preliminary thoughts on the November semiannual rebalancing. Specifically, we focus on three stocks: Sistema, Aeroflot and Polyus. Of course, market movement between now and October will require revisions to our estimates at a later date before the November rebalancing.
