MARKET COMMENT - SHARP SWINGS IN THE MARKET ON TRUMP, MNUCHIN COMMENTS
An intraday gain on the RTS turned to a decline after a tweet from US President Donald Trump warning of missile strikes in Syria â€“ which, since then, appears to have been premature. On the positive side, reassurance from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin that the US is not eager to sanction Russian sovereign debt has lifted sentiment heading into this morningâ€™s open.

CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe Eurobond market remained inactive yesterday.GOVERNMENT DEBTYesterday saw a correction in the OFZ market, with yields rising 20-40 bps. This was actually a fairly modest move given how volatile things have been recently (yields dropped 250-300 bps on Monday-Tuesday, after the market reopened).
