CIS EUROBOND MARKETAn improvement in the market backdrop on Friday helped Russian sovereign Eurobonds to climb in price, though trading remained illiquid. On the day, long-dated bonds rose 8.0-8.2 pp. Intermediate paper added 2.0-4.0 pp.GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZ yields eased 40-50 bps on Friday thanks to rising oil prices and ruble strength in the wake of the CBR's decision to leave the key rate on hold. Large local accounts were again predominant on the bid side, while nonresidents were selling in modest volumes, taking advantage of the situation to pare back their positions. Volumes reached R41.7 bln, with R10 bln going through in the 20y OFZ 26230.
