CIS EUROBOND MARKETThe Russian sovereign Eurobond market had a generally positive session. Long-dated issues were well bid upon the opening in New York, with quotes rising 0.5-0.7 pp on the day, the Russia 43 leading the way.GOVERNMENT DEBTEM paper weakened amid the ongoing decline in risk appetite in the face of trade war fears. The OFZ market proved no exception, and yields climbed 5 bps along the entire curve. However, the afternoon saw oil prices move higher and the ruble strengthen, which brought yields back to the previous day's closing levels. Turnover was average, with the most turnover concentrated in long-dated paper (15-16y). Floaters ended the session unchanged.

EME Equity Market – July 2022 Market performance – markets mostly up during the month, but Russia’s MOEX down 9.4% in EUR terms.
