CIS Market Daily - August 16, 2021

MARKET COMMENT - BEARISH CHINA, OIL HEADLINES AHEAD OF RESULTS, MERKEL VISITMajor DM and non-APAC EM indexes ground 0.2-0.7% higher, though APAC EMs declined 0.8%. The RTS gained 0.1% to remain around 1,666. Energy was among the weakest performers in Russia and abroad, and Brent ($69.50/bbl) declined further since Friday night. Bearish China headlines have also weighed on global markets this morning. РЫНОК ВНЕШНЕГО ДОЛГА СТРАН СНГВ среду рынок российского суверенного долга оставался неактивным.ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЕ ЦЕННЫЕ БУМАГИВ среду мы наблюдали откат на рынке ОФЗ - доходности повысились на 20-40 б. п. Это довольно умеренное изменение, если учесть недавнюю волатильность (в понедельник-вторник доходности с открытия упали на 250-300 б. п.). Бумаги закрылись в основном с доходностью в диапазоне от 13,5% до 16%.
