Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - April 23, 2019

This morning, oil prices have continued to rise, but EM currencies are slightly down on the whole. Accordingly, the ruble has been flat and will likely remain so. There are few potentially market-moving events today. The most noteworthy one is a speech from US President Donald Trump's chief economic advisor Larry Kudlow at the National Press Club, in which he will discuss recent market volatility and likely comment on the US-China trade negotiations.
