Risk assets are still under pressure this morning even though the number of new infections reported in China fell again, this time to under 1,900, with fewer than 80 outside the Hubei province. The reason for this seems to be that the estimates of the economic impact are only rising as investors give up their hopes of a quick recovery in the economy after the virus is contained.
