Brent is trading above $75/bbl this morning, while the dollar has only slightly advanced against global currencies and the ruble is quoted only just above 73. The focus today will be the remarks due from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on Capitol Hill, though he is unlikely to say anything new versus last week. Thus, the markets should remain calm and the ruble should continue to trade around 73.
