Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - June 25, 2021. Ruble Might Firm Slightly, but Potential for Further Gains Limited
We expect the ruble to firm slightly early today and possibly even test the 72 mark. However, with the tax payments coming to an end and the weekend approaching, demand for FX might pick up, given that the current levels are attractive to sell rubles. We therefore think that there is not much scope for the ruble to strengthen further.
