Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - March 18, 2020
Urals has continued falling this morning and is near $24/bbl as we write. USD/RUB is quoted at close to 76. We expect the ruble to continue to weaken early on today - by a couple percent - but then, supported by an expected resumption of significant FX offers (they have appeared above 75 the past few days), the local currency should manage to pare some of the losses.
