Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - March 19, 2020
CBR has today introduced a mechanism to make additional FX sales. On our estimates, with Urals at $20/bbl the volume of this additional FX selling will be $1.3 bln per month (while the regular FX sales from the NWF will be $3.6 bln). This would mean around $5 bln sold per month, which comes out to about $240 mln per day.
