Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - November 19, 2021. Ruble Holding at Around USD/RUB 73
Yesterday, the ruble plummeted by more than 1% against the dollar, a move that was in line with other EM currencies. The catalyst for this was a 5% drop in the lira following the Turkish central bank's decision to once again cut interest rates. The ruble has recovered to 72.7 this morning thanks to support from exporters.
