The ruble is trading flat, though it still has some potential to firm as the dollar's losses globally may increase later on, despite the shortened day in the US. Investors will be eyeing the US PMI today, looking for confirmation of weaker growth in the US amid recent signs of that. A strong eurozone PMI could lead to gains in the euro.
