Though unconfirmed, the news that former Fed Chairman Janet Yellen, a well-known dove, could be tapped for Treasury secretary has been very well received by the markets. Against this backdrop, positive sentiment is prevailing as we write, and the ruble has once again broken through the strong USD/RUB support of 76.
