Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - October 23, 2020
The dollar has modestly firmed globally this morning. Markets are waiting for preliminary European PMIs for October, which could be disappointing. The main event for Russia investors today is the CBR decision, though we do not expect it to have an effect on the FX market. In the evening, preliminary US PMIs for October are due, which are expected to come out healthy in light of the considerable decline in US weekly jobless claims reported yesterday.
