Russia FX/Rates Snapshot - October 29, 2021. Ruble Likely to Come Under Pressure Again Ahead of Weekend
The ruble has weakened this morning as the dollar appears to have been oversold yesterday. On the local market, demand for the dollar is also likely to increase today due to the conversion of some dividend payments into FX. We therefore expect the ruble to weaken to 70.7, and perhaps even approach 71.
