The mood in global markets remains upbeat this morning. We would not be surprised to see the ruble join in on the optimism today and potentially strengthen to 77.6 versus the dollar. The spotlight will be on a speech by Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, who is likely to once again call on the US Congress and presidential administration to push through a new fiscal stimulus package.
