The Fed will unveil its decision at 21:00 Moscow time, followed by Chairman Jerome Powell's press conference at 21:30. We expect updated forecasts to indicate that rates will remain around zero through 2023. In addition, if the Fed's inflation forecast does not show an expected pickup significantly above 2%, then rates would probably stay there in 2024 and even beyond.
