Debt Markets Today - November 22, 2021. Menendez Sanctions Bill, TCS Group 3Q21 Preview
CIS EUROBOND MARKETDespite the sharp drop in UST yields, trading in Russian sovereign Eurobonds was sluggish on Friday. The only significant movement was in the Russia 28, which dropped 0.5 pp, although trading did pick up in euro-denominated papers, in particular the Russia 36 E. GOVERNMENT DEBTOFZs opened higher in price on Friday, but later did a U-turn amid a global selloff in risk assets. Yields finished 4-10 bps higher at the short end and 2-4 bps higher further out on the curve. Trading volumes totaled R24 bln, with R15 bln attributable to 10y issues.
