Semiconductors and Technology Leading the WayWe remain near-term bullish since our 4/22/25 Compass, and our intermediate-term outlook remains bullish as well (as of our 5/14/25 Compass). We will maintain our bullish view as long as market dynamics remain healthy and the S&P 500 (SPX) is above 5700-5785 (up from 5500). We continue to be buyers in the 5700-5785 range if it gets there, and we would also be buyers at 5804-5854 gap support. We are expecting all-time highs soon on the SPX.
Technology (XLK) Breaking Out?; Semiconductors Leading. Cap-weighted Technology (XLK) is testing 11-month resistance of $243 (all-time highs), while RS is breaking to 10+ month highs. Semiconductors are leading the way with the SMH and SOXX ETFs reversing above 11-month downtrends. There is nothing more bullish for the SPX and QQQ than leadership from semiconductors and Technology... see charts below.

Golar LNG is a midstream liquefied natural gas (LNG) company based in Bermuda. Co. is engaged in the transportation, regasification, liquefaction and trading of LNG. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, Co. is engaged in the acquisition, ownership, operation and chartering of LNG carriers and floating storage regasification units (FSRUs), and the development of liquefaction projects such as Floating Liquefaction Natural Gas Vessels. Co. owns and operates a fleet of 19 LNG carriers and seven FSRUs, and under management agreements operates Golar LNG Partner LP's fleet of six FSRUs and four LNG carriers.

As of Dec 31 2016, excluding Thrace Basin Natural Gas (Turkiye) Corporation, Co. held interests in approximately 395,000 and 165,000 net acres of developed and undeveloped oil and natural gas properties in Turkey and Bulgaria, respectively, and an operated interest in a joint venture in Albania. As of Dec 31 2016, Co. had total net proved reserves of 15.4 thousand barrels of oil equivalents, consisting of 12.8 thousand barrels of oil and 15.7 million cubic feet of natural gas.
