Insights: Bullish Stocks

Aerospace & Defense lifting off

• Large-cap aerospace and defense stocks remain leadership, emerging from recent market volatility to achieve new relative strength highs. Aero/defense-related names continue to be favorites of ours within the Manufacturing Sector.

• Massive outperformers Boeing (BA), Ratheon (RTN), and Northrop Grumman (NOC) all have bullish charts, though given their extended nature, we would not recommend opening new positions or adding exposure at this time. However, numerous aero/defense names are trading at favorable entry points. In today's report we highlight actionable charts in the following groups:

o MF-03: Aero Defense, Large-Cap: Lockheed Martin (LMT), General Dynamics (GD), and Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII)

o MF-05: Aerospace, Components & Products, Large-Cap: TransDigm (TDG), Textron (TXT), Teledyne Technologies (TDY), and Embraer S.A. ADR (ERJ)

o MF-07: Aerospace, Comm./Electronics, Large-Cap: L3 Technologies (LLL)
• Related ETFs: ITA, XAR, and PPA
