6PM Call: A breakthrough
There was some hesitation after the opening as decliner outweighed gainer. However, VIC and VNM helped the index to keep the uptrend. Oil and gas stocks also contributed to the increase as PLX, GAS, PVD, and PVS advanced. Banking stocks traded around the reference level. The VN-Index increased 0.76% at the end of the morning session.
