6PM Call: Banking group dominated
Following the positive status in previous session, market opened in green and gradually kept the momentum until afternoon. However, after reaching the peak, market quickly cooled down. At the end, VN-Index only increased by 10.66 points (+0.94%) and closed at 1143.21 points. HNX-Index rose 3.55 points (+1.71%) and closed at 211.68 points. Liquidity continued to increase, with 725.4 mn shares matched on HOSE. The number of gainers outperformed on all 3 exchanges. Today’s highlight is positive support from banking group.
