6PM Call: Banking sector took a step back
Following the recovery trend of the world stock markets, Vietnam stock market also opened in green. However, market could not maintain green for the whole session as profit-taking pressure appeared at the end of the session. At the close, VN-Index decreased slightly by 2.01 points (-0.21%) and closed at 937.75 points. HNX-Index dropped 1.72 points (-1.23%) due to correction of ACB (-2.4%), and closed at 138.3 points. Liquidity decreased with 270.4 mn shares matched on HOSE. The number of losers outperformed on all 3 exchanges.
