6PM Call: Both Indexes Turned Out Negative in the Final Minutes - Update on electricity industry, LPB

The VNIndex and HNXIndex once again went up in the morning but headed down in the afternoon session. Today’s movement was completely different compared to what had happened yesterday. The more it came to the end of the day, the more decliners outnumbered the gainers. On the HSX, MSN, VIC and PLX were the three main contributors to the gain of the VNIndex. They prevented the index from falling further. Banking shares did not show their roles much today. In the morning, they pushed the index to move up but in the afternoon, most of them retracted. From the declining side, GAS and BHN were the two biggest shares that pulled down the VNIndex. It was BHN that went to the floor and made the index close in the red but not the VN30, which does not contain BHN. At the end, the HNXIndex, which lost 0.47 pt, showed the same pattern as that of the VNIndex, which closed down 0.43 pt.
