6PM Call: Breakout thanks to banking stocks
The market traded moderately and increased slightly in the morning but suddenly accelerated in the afternoon after the news that SBV lowered interest rate. VN-Index increased by 11.15 points (1.14%), to close at 987.22. HNX-Index gained 1.08 points (1.07%), ending the day at 102.2. Liquidity continued to improve strongly on HSX but was still weak on HNX. Gainers outnumbered decliners.
