Two days since Rong Viet’s Analyst Pinboard noted significant changes in tax policies for the fertilizer industry, this sector has started to rally (DPM +1,450 dong, BFC +1,900 dong, LAS +1,200 dong). The increase reflected the market’s hope for the government’s support for the industry, which has recently faced strong competition from imported products. Moreover, fertilizer companies are likely to benefit from the rise of urea prices, which have increased 25% since it hit a 5-year low in July 2016.
