6PM Call: Market fails to reach 1,000 points
VN-Index surpassed 1,000 points twice in the morning but could not maintain. Selling pressure increased sharply in the afternoon causing the indices dropped significantly. VN-Index dropped 11.92 points or1.19%, closing at 986.02. HNX-Index declined by 0.86 points or 0.82% to close at 104.43. Liquidity increased slightly on both exchanges. Decliners outnumbered gainers.
