After its initial rally, the market went back and forth for the rest of the day. The VN-30 was up 0.53%, but the decrease of VNMID and VNSML, together with the absence of VNM, has limited the increase of the VN-Index. The VN-Index climbed only 0.18% to 674.26 pts, while the HNX-Index also rose 0.26% to 81.12 pts. Mineral penny stocks continued their rally for the second day in a row. After the withdrawal of 400,000 shares of Vaneck ETF (equivalent to $5.5 million) yesterday, foreigners continued to net sell VND121 billion on the HSX (of which VND93 billion belongs to VNM). However, they net bought around VND10 billion on the HNX.
