6PM Call: One more step to reach the all-time high level - Case study: Toys’R’Us
The ETFs’ reconstitution is behind; hence, the market took one more step to reach the all-time high level. The market was relatively balanced with 129 gainers and 162 decliners, but large cap stocks helped lift the VNIndex by 0.8% to 1159. Real estate stocks all rose, notably VIC, NVL, DXG and LDG. Banking stocks underperformed today, but we believe it is only a temporary movement due to profit taking.
