6PM Call: Short-term Reaction to the Draft Amendment on the Initial Margin - Update on Vietnam Paper Industry
After going up for 6 days in a row, the VNIndex traded in the red as it closed down 0.51 pt. The HNXIndex also decreased by 0.44 pt. Liquidity was still high in terms of trading value. Total turnover on both bourses reached more than VND 9,173 billion, which was up 9.5% compared to that of yesterday’s session. Market breadth turned a bit more negative in the HSX as there were 165 decliners over 116 gainers.
